When Life Feels Like Too Much
Have you ever felt like life was throwing everything at you all at once? Old memories resurface, like today I saw a picture of a home I loved and thought was my forever home and obstacles seem to pop up everywhere, so I sold it. In my life at that time the ground beneath was anything but steady. So I’ve been there. And if you’re reading this, maybe you have too.
Not long ago, I found myself in a storm of challenges. Walking into a courtroom It was one of those times when life felt like too much. Old fears tried to creep back in, whispering familiar doubts: What if I’m not strong enough? What if I’m not ready? But instead of giving in, I chose to lean into something deeper. I chose to trust.
Trust in the flow of life. Trust that every twist, every turn, and every moment of discomfort was guiding me toward something far greater than I could see in the moment. It wasn’t easy - -but it was necessary.
Here’s what I learned:
You’ve Come Too Far to Turn Back
We all have moments when fear tries to pull us into old, familiar patterns. It’s tempting to let those patterns take over - - to react from a place of fear, doubt, or frustration. But here’s the truth: you’ve already done the hard work. You’ve faced challenges, grown, and evolved. Falling back into those old ways isn’t an option anymore.
Instead, ask yourself: Am I responding to life from a place of fear, or from a place of trust?
When you respond from trust, you’re choosing to see beyond the momentary chaos. You’re stepping into a greater way of living, one that aligns with your highest good.
Trust That Life Is Guiding You
It’s easy to feel stuck when life isn’t unfolding the way we expected. But what if those roadblocks aren’t really blocks at all? What if they’re redirects - -signs pointing you toward something better than you ever imagined?
An unshakable trust in the flow of life allows you to move beyond a limited version of what’s possible. It opens doors to opportunities you didn’t even know existed. But to see those doors, you have to stay grounded. You have to believe that even in the toughest moments, life is working in your favor.
Don’t Let Distractions Define You
Distractions will come. Unpleasant moments will happen. That’s life. But they don’t define you - -and they don’t have to derail you. When things feel like too much, pause. Take a breath. Remember who you are and how far you’ve come.
Trust isn’t just about believing in life; it’s about believing in yourself. It’s about knowing that you are capable of handling whatever comes your way.
Embrace a Greater Way of Living
The next time life feels overwhelming, remind yourself: this moment is temporary. Something better is coming. And you are strong enough to move through it with grace and trust.
Lean into the flow of life. Trust the journey. Respond with confidence, not fear. This is your opportunity to move beyond the limits of what you thought was possible and step into the greatness that awaits you.
You’ve got this.
