Confession time: Yesterday, my body completely lied to me.

I was running on absolute fumes. I had just navigated a brutal week of 14-hour days, intense physical pain, and heavy family emergencies. I was exhausted down to my bones.

And what did my brain tell me to do? It told me to get in my car and drive 60 miles in the freezing cold so I could sit in a gym massage chair, sweat in a sauna, and "get my groove back."

I almost did it. I almost convinced myself that forcing my exhausted body into a new "healing protocol" was exactly what I needed.

But it was a lie.

In my newest solo podcast episode, I am getting brutally honest about the trap of "fixing" yourself. Because as a system trauma facilitator, I can tell you this: Most of what we call "working on ourselves" is actually just our sympathetic nervous system hitting the alarm bell. It is the "flight" response, wrapped up in a socially acceptable disguise called self-improvement.

If you are frantically trying to heal, optimize, and fix your life... you might actually just be outrunning your own exhaustion.

Grab a blanket, sit on the couch, and come listen to the new episode.
